外国语言文学学院对外籍教师教学管理基本建议
School of Foreign Languages and Literature would like to offer the following suggestions to our foreign teachers for the purpose of promoting the exchange between teachers and students, and guaranteeing the teaching quality.
1. Foreign teachers shall obey all the rules and regulations of teaching administration made by HNIST and School of Foreign Languages and Literature.
2. Foreign teachers shall make teaching plans and prepare teaching activities on basis of the teaching requirements made by HNIST and School of Foreign Languages and Literature.
3. As for teaching content, foreign teachers shall make full use of the textbook and follow the textbook strictly. We welcome foreign teachers to provide supplementary learning materials to students on condition that they have finished all the required teaching contents in the textbook.
4. As for the evaluation of students’ performance, foreign teachers shall give all students equal opportunity to take the final examination. They shall keep all the materials relevant to students’ classroom performance and final examination just in case some students may have doubt about their final scores.
5. If foreign teachers want to change their course schedule temporarily (for example, change one class’s course time from Monday morning to Friday afternoon) due to some emergencies, they shall submit a written application to School of Foreign Languages and Literature to the following email: michaelzhao998@hotmail.com.
6. We welcome foreign teachers to take part in the English corner organized by School of Foreign Languages and Literature to communicate with students and share their culture.
